Hi, I’m Morten Leth Hedegaard, a 41-year-old IT consultant with more than two decades of experience in endpoint management and enterprise device deployment. I’ve worked in IT since 2003 and as a consultant since 2007—driven by curiosity, problem-solving, and a genuine passion for helping organizations succeed.
A big reason I chose—and stayed in—consulting is the incredible variety of environments I’ve worked in over the years. I’ve been part of countless installations, migrations, and deployments, giving me deep insight into how real-world environments behave and what it takes to make technology run smoothly. Every customer setup is different, and that diversity has shaped my approach: understanding the why behind the technology and applying that knowledge to deliver solutions that work in practice.
While I still support customers using Configuration Manager, much of my work today focuses on Microsoft Intune and guiding organizations through their modern management journey. I’ve worked with Intune since its early days and have followed the platform closely as it matured—developing deployment strategies and application packages that work consistently across both traditional and modern tooling. Regardless of the platform, the fundamentals remain the same: solid processes, reliable packages, and a deep understanding of how devices behave.
My consulting philosophy is simple:
A project isn’t finished when the technology is deployed—it’s finished when the customer can confidently take it forward.
I take pride in ensuring knowledge transfer is part of every engagement, enabling teams to build on what I create long after the project ends.
Community matters
Community matters to me. In 2024, I attended Experts Live Denmark as a speaker at their very first event. That experience made it clear how important it is to give something back to the community that has shaped my professional journey.
In 2025, I decided to get more involved and joined the organizer group. I took responsibility for leading the check-in process, where we welcomed 550 attendees and ensured everything ran smoothly. Through this work, I realized how closely aligned I am with the board’s mission of creating Denmark’s largest in-person IT community event.
After the event, I was formally onboarded as a member of the board, and I’m now actively involved in planning the next major Experts Live Denmark event in February 24–26 next year. Contributing to this community and helping it grow has become an important part of my professional identity.
Personal Life
Outside of work, I’m a proud husband to my wonderful wife Mette, and together we have three amazing children—Wilhelm (10), Christian (8), and Elisabeth (6)—who keep life full of joy, noise, and perspective. When time allows, I relax with a game of Dota, though with three kids that time can be rare.
If you’re interested in modern management, Intune best practices, community involvement, or simply want to connect with someone who enjoys exploring the “why” behind technology, I’m glad you’re here.
